No.7: Born and raised in New York state, I earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University, and later, an MFA in Creative Nonfiction at the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast program. Swedish Fish, an excerpt from my memoir in progress is published at Six Hens, an online literary journal. https://www.sixhens.com/swedish-fish A few years back I had a blog, also named Narragansett No. 7, where I wrote very honestly about the humiliation and humor that comes along with parenting toddlers. While I miss that era of writing, my kids can read now and, as tweens and teens, most definitely WOULD NOT appreciate my truth-telling style of writing at this juncture.
